THE MODEL
No. TPH St. Louis does not have a club hockey team and is not connected or partnered with any specific club organization. All student-athletes play for their own respective club teams outside of the Academy. Student-athletes from all clubs are welcome at TPH St. Louis.
No. TPH St. Louis does not offer training-only or academics-only options. Exceptions may apply for alumni who advance to junior hockey while still in high school.
We believe you are either all in or not in. Development is not something you visit — it is something you commit to.
No. TPH St. Louis does not provide boarding or billeting opportunities.
The Academy is designed for families who value structure, routine, consistency, and accountability. When students are healthy and in town, they are expected to be on campus, on time, and fully engaged throughout the entire academic day.
The students who experience the greatest growth are often the students who spend the most time on site and take advantage of every opportunity available to them.
ACADEMICS
Yes. TPH St. Louis students have multiple layers of academic support, including:
No. TPH St. Louis is not an accredited school. Students are enrolled either through their Missouri public school district as a full-time virtual student, or through our private school partner, EYC Academy.
Regardless of enrollment pathway, students receive the same academic support, same platform, same resources, and same day-to-day experience. The difference is simply where credits, transcripts, and diplomas are issued from.
Option 1: Remain enrolled in your Missouri public school district through the Missouri Course Access Program.
Option 2: Enroll through our private school partner, EYC Academy.
All students, regardless of enrollment pathway, utilize the Edmentum platform. Edmentum is NCAA approved, Missouri approved, asynchronous, flexible, and provides students with multiple learning tools and resources.
Yes. Students must remain academically eligible in order to participate in daily on-ice and off-ice training. Eligibility is reviewed daily by the academic staff. Academic staff monitor student pacing, grades, effort, engagement, and overall progress.
Students who become academically ineligible receive additional academic support blocks in place of training sessions until they are back on track and demonstrating the habits necessary for success.
Approximately 1:15. Maintaining a strong staff-to-student ratio allows us to provide individualized support and attention to students on a daily basis.
HOCKEY & FACILITY
Approximately 1:10 or better. This includes hockey development coaches, goalie coaches, mentors, and strength and conditioning staff.

One of the unique aspects of our Academy experience is that students regularly cross paths with NHL players, NCAA Division I student-athletes, coaches, and hockey professionals as part of their normal day.
TUITION & AID
Tuition for TPH St. Louis Academy is $25,999. Tuition includes everything: all academic support, hockey development, sports performance training, facilities, extracurriculars, student experience, and Academy events.

Yes. TPH St. Louis offers multiple payment plan options, sibling discounts, and the ability to utilize educational savings accounts such as MOST and 529 plans. Families may also apply for scholarship opportunities through the TPH St. Louis Academy scholarship program.
Over the past two years, the TPH St. Louis Academy scholarship initiative has raised more than $500,000 to help student-athletes attend the Academy.
Yes. Eligible families who enroll through EYC Academy may qualify for Missouri Scholars funding.
No — the Academy does not provide bus or transportation service. Families handle daily drop-off and pick-up.
