The 2026–27 Hockey Development Staff Is Complete

TPH St. Louis welcomes Zach Jordan (Sports Performance Coach & Mentor — four NCAA Division I seasons at Nebraska–Omaha, six pro seasons across the AHL and ECHL) and Tommy Heinzman (Player Development Coach & Mentor — St. Louis native, five seasons at Lindenwood). They join a staff with 1,900+ professional games played across the NHL, AHL, ECHL, and leagues worldwide.

Fall Open Houses Announced — October 5 & October 26

Two free evenings to see the academies from the inside. Hockey: Monday, October 5 at Centene Community Ice Center — 2010–2018 birth years, boys and girls. Soccer: Monday, October 26 at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. Both run 7:00–8:00 PM, parents and students welcome, sign-up required.

The Soccer Academy's first-ever Summer Free Play League wrapped up in August at World Wide Technology Soccer Park — a huge success and the perfect running start into the academy's founding year, which kicks off Monday, August 24 with 40+ student-athletes.

Catching Excellence: Nicholas Dragan

Featured by TPH Academy: Nicholas arrived at TPH St. Louis as a seventh grader with dyslexia — and graduated six years later with a perfect 4.0 GPA, a climb to Tier 1 AAA with the Chicago Mission U18s, and a junior hockey and NCAA path ahead. His story is what the academy model exists to make possible.

The Soccer Academy Arrives

TPH St. Louis opens its second academy this fall at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton. The inaugural class begins Monday, August 24, 2026 — full-day academics with EYC teachers, daily on-field training, and strength & conditioning, all inside the home of Saint Louis Scott Gallagher. Applications for the 2026–27 year are open now.

Hockey Academy Expands Its Home at CCIC

TPH St. Louis has extended its lease at the Centene Community Ice Center through 2032 and is expanding its footprint — 2,100+ additional square feet (the former Pure Hockey space) becoming the academy's new HQ, weekly ice time increasing from 12 to 16 hours, and five dedicated academic rooms for more individualized support.

Hockey Academy Applications Open

The Hockey Academy enters its seventh year at the Centene Community Ice Center with 95+ student-athletes and 32 new families welcomed this year. With 200+ paid applications received for this year's limitedopenings, families are encouraged to apply early — admission is by application and evaluation only.

In the past two years, more than $500,000 has been raised to support scholarship student-athletes at TPH St. Louis — keeping the academy experience within reach for driven families. Contributions can be directed to St. Louis through the TPH Impact Player Foundation.
